    • Covering Fire
This photo was taken in a low light environment hence the grainy look.

At this moment, three elements from the opposing team were encircling the last couple of members of the team.

    • Happy Birthday!
Yep, we even take some time to celebrate a good friend's birthday in a match ;)

What about the gifts? Several BBs at a couple of hundreds FPS ;)

The cup cakes were baked by one of the teammates' girlfriend and let me tell, they were delicious

      Happy Birthday dude!

    • Ranger Roster - Update
Same deal as in [link] but this time we lost a few members of the squad; I guess Rangers Wanted ;)

    • Cat and Mouse
Good match, play at Quimera Tactical Range.

The guy at the foreground made a stand in that position and actually gave a hard time to the rest of the opposing team trying to tag him.

    • SIG552 and equipment
This is my gear. I haven't add anything yet. I'm saving to get side arm, I haven't decided yet but you can bet that I will post some pictures when I get it ;)

The ACU pattern is because I like it and that's my current camo but I'm about to get me a MARPat uniform.

So, tell me what's your replica and outfit? :)

    • Ranger Roster
The truth is that I copied the idea from the Valkyria Roster [link] I really liked what Vielwerth [link] did so I tried to do something similar myself

This the roster of the squad I belong to in ETAG [link] this will be a banner in the section of the forum that we use to address issues pertinent to the squad.

    • Airsoft Meme
I know this is no 9gag but this was such a good game that it deserves a meme, by the way, that guys face? Is this guy: [link]

As I mentioned on my journal entry: [link]

This was such a stressful week that I decided to sign up for the Thursday Airsoft Match organized by ETAG Airsoft Club. We gather after working hours in a local Paintball field and play until the owner closes up :) since Airsoft Replicas are usually a bit more quiet than Paintball markers we can stay near midnight without disturbing the neighbors, at least not that much ;)

    • Mission briefing
You like Airsoft? Check often for updates; ETAG organizes official games twice a month but there are many unofficial games in between, I usually take photos or video. So expect frequent updates to my gallery [link] :)

    • Squad Stamp
First stamp project. I made this for my signature in my BBS profile for my Airsoft team.

We are divided into squads, the one I'm belong to is Rangers. It is a bit odd that there is a Neptune in an "army" patch but well, I didn't make the logo :)

    • Hunted
This photo was shot during an ETAG Airsoft match in Quimera tactical range on March 25th, 2012.

At this moment, there only five players left in the game. It had a really exciting end!

This a video taken a few minutes later: [link]

    • CDAG-ETAG March 4th 2012
On this occasion we went to a town about 50 mi away from the city. We were invited by the CDAG Club (Club de Airsoft de Guadalajara) to have an inter club match.

Really nice game, we had the opportunity to play “Capture the hill” and “team deathmatch” type games in a HUGE area. There were three or four snipers, which is quite appropriate for this sort of terrain.

A lot of camaraderie and good vibe, we played mixed teams and also club vs club. Definitively it was worth the effort to get out of the of the bed so early on a Sunday morning ;)

This particular photo is of the attacking force trying to capture the hill; I believe they split into two teams but the bulk of the force took a trail that led up the left flank of the defensive force.

    • SIG 552
Finally I was able to snap some pictures of my SIG552. It's a CyberGun; which means is made by JG and rebranded by the other company ;)

Out of the box I get 320 FPS and ROF of 10 BB per second with .20s. I haven't tested with .23 (which I just get). I would say that it's pretty accurate up until 30 meters but I expect to improve that with the new BBs

Excellent for CQB matches due to the maneuverability and performance. For out door games it's quite good but I'm getting a hard time from KWAs due range issues.

In retrospective, I can say it was an excellent choice for being my first replica. I will be able to reuse all but my magazines once I decide to get another replica but I don't think that will happen soon ;)

For the externals: Matrix Red Dot, Bi Pod/ Foregrip, Tactical lamp, Corvus one point Sling, Two Mid Cap Magazines.

    • Pack your bags
I just got this carrying case for my replica and most of my gear. I added a patch that a good friend gave to my. He got it from a special edition of Halo but I can't remember which one.

      *** Edit ***
Jan 13th, 2011 as RantingOne [link] points out, the patch is from Halo Reach: Legendary Edition. :w00t!:

    • DA-ID
I have been thinking for sometime now on what to use as DA ID and Avatar.

Finally I choose this design that I built myself. Not totally original, I know =)

I'll tell you why I choose those two elements. My loadup includes a ACU and among other patches, I wear in the left arm a Punisher skull patch.

I have always liked that skull; also, since I was a teenager, The Punisher is one of my favorite comic book character, a great anti hero with nothing more than skills and wits to overcome any situation.

      *** The Legal Stuff ***

I can't claim any copyright or ownership nor I intend in doing so or to make any money on the protected elements. Drop me an email before taking out the big legal guns ;)
